“Yeg Svarants” | Come to Svarants
Our ‘Yeg Svarants’ (Come to Svarants) project is designed to address two major issues facing Armenia – an ongoing refugee crisis, and shrinking rural areas.
Through strategic investment in the physical and social infrastructure of host villages like Svarants, along with livelihood and support programs for both resettlers and locals, we aim to revitalize Syunik’s villages while helping displaced families establish themselves in a welcoming and familiar environment.

With its shared cultural heritage, Syunik offers Artsakh Armenians familiar surroundings, easing integration into Armenian society. The availability of 20 new homes in Svarants allows displaced families to resettle together, rebuild social bonds, and maintain traditions — all while preparing for a future where they can exercise their right of return to their homeland.
