Everyone in Armenia deserves a life free from abuse

A key component of our work building a more reslient Armenia lies in our support of the Women’s Support Center.

Established in 2010, the Women’s Support Center has worked to spread awareness and support to the victims of domestic violence, through protection and empowerment.

They offer over 300 women annually a refuge from absuive relationships, and help them with vocational training; computer instruction healthy lifestyles, life skills, parenting skills, and survivor strategies. These workshops help survivors become better equipped to handle difficult situations, manage their households and enter the workforce.

They are also actively pushing legislative changes in Armenia to strengthen legal protections for women going forward.
