INTERNATIONAL AND CIVIL SOCIETY PARTNERSHIPS
For more than 25 years, the Tufenkian Foundation’s presence has been felt across Armenia, implementing over 500 projects and supporting more than 1,000 initiatives that have touched the lives of thousands of people. For two decades, the Foundation worked in Artsakh, supporting its people through resettlement, economic development, capacity building, education and healthcare access, cultural and religious preservation, resilience-building, and international advocacy.
Humanitarian response has always been part of our mission, but the Foundation’s core commitment lies in mid- and long-term solutions to the systemic challenges facing Armenian society. Today, this commitment is reflected through our strong focus on rural areas—particularly in resettlement and community development, amongst other interconnected priorities.
The Foundation continues to support civil society partners, including the Family and Community NGO through its three regional centers, and the Women’s Support Center, which addresses domestic violence across the country. Over the years, it also supported the Mining Legislation Institute (MLRI) advocating for environmental justice and community rights.
Rooted in solidarity and driven by impact, the Tufenkian Foundation continues to work for people, communities, and ideas that shape a more resilient and just Armenia.
