Supporting Vulnerable Children and Youth

Working for those who need us most, the Family and Community NGO

At the heart of our resilience-building work stands the Family and Community NGO.

Working in some of the country’s most underserved communities, the Family and Community NGO addresses the needs of the poorest and most vulnerable — families struggling under the weight of poverty, children and young people growing up without adequate support, and communities lacking the resources to grow and thrive on their own terms.

Through a comprehensive, human-centered approach, the NGO implements programs across five interconnected areas: social and psychological support for individuals and families in crisis; family empowerment to strengthen the foundational unit of Armenian society; capacity building for youth and children, equipping the next generation with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to build meaningful futures; resource identification and development, unlocking the hidden potential within communities; and community development, fostering collective growth that extends far beyond individual households.

This work is carried out through three community centers — in Metsamor and Armavir in the Armavir region, and in Artik in the Shirak region. These centers are more than service points; they are trusted spaces where people feel seen, heard, and supported. Places where a struggling mother can find guidance, where a young person can discover their potential, and where an entire community can begin to believe that a better future is within reach.
