Husik Sargsyan, the newly appointed Director of the Tufenkian Foundation, met with Syunik Governor Robert Ghukasyan.

 

Their discussions covered the Foundation’s ongoing projects in the region, avenues for deepening cooperation with the Governor’s office, and potential new initiatives to support the socio-economic development of local communities.

 

The “Come to Svarants” resettlement project was also on the agenda. The Foundation’s Director noted that 10 houses have already been completed, with further residential construction set to begin in the coming months.

 

Looking ahead, the Foundation has outlined additional development projects for Svarants, including the renovation of the administrative center and the local healthcare facility.

 

The meeting concluded with a working visit to Svarants, where both parties continued their discussions on the ground.
